Final Fantasy 8 style card game in GW2

*Game would play very similar to the one in FF8.
*Collect cards through Karma
*Collect cards through turning weak enemies into cards like in FF8.
*Cards are soulbound
*Game is played of table in towns.

Could be interesting, as long as it left out the “Random” mechanic

There is absolutely no evidence to support that it would.” -AnthonyOrdon

I hated the card game in FF8 so much, also in FF9 ant that is still my favoured FF of all times.

I think something like a CCG in GW2 could be interesting and could work, but I don’T want the boring ruleset from one of the FF card games.

I enjoy these types of card games as long as the rules are not convoluted. I’d prefer something as simple as FF8’s system compared to those terrible iOS card games eith evolutions and whatnot. Booster packs would also bring in revenue for ANet in the gem store. I’m just not sure if a card game fits into GW2, whereas FF8 and FF9 worked it into the story.

@ScribeTheMad: Oh God, I HATED that kitten Random rule. -_- I would save and reload my game multiple times until they abolished it after a match.
