Well, while I personally feel the event was decently done (could’ve used some closer waypoints to prevent as long runs after dying.), I had a guild member who logged in right as it ended. He missed the chest by mere minutes. Now, while I enjoy the idea of “This happens, it’s done deal.” in a way, I feel that something could be done to increase the amount of people available to do it.
Now, definitely not a “after event ends, hour later it is back again,” I was thinking more along the lines of the world bosses like the claw of jormag or Tequatl the sunless. A bit of time between goes, but have it go through a few times allowing everybody around the world at least a chance to go through it. Now, to counter people farming rewards from it perhaps do a “Once per account completion” and after that the chest doesn’t work for them or it simply doesn’t give the same quality items as the first time.
I will say I enjoy the fact the reward accessory and box are account bound instead of soulbound, this means that they can be swapped around on my characters.
