Wouldn’t it be great to link your Facebook friends list to guild wars 2 allowing you to find guild wars 2 player easier then asking around for ever…?

No.

First off, it would require two things:

1. That the friends have their accounts linked to Facebook
2. That they have allowed you to see their linked ID

And naturally, they would have to have the option of selecting who gets to see their Facebook ID via Guild Wars 2. Otherwise we’re talking serious invasion of privacy, which isn’t exactly legal.

And with that, you would have to ask anyway, because let’s face it, how many people would link their in-game account to their Facebook, assuming the latter is not a dummy account?

Thus, your idea doesn’t work. So again, a no.
