First Person Mode Please?
Would like it too for screenshots, also considering the Oculus Rift will be here soon many people would want to try it like that.
Want it too. It was a nice feature in GW1.

First-person camera is an absolute must for some jumping puzzles, and it’s more difficult when we don’t have it. I wouldn’t want to run through Arah with it, but it’d still be a handy feature to have.
There is a way to go first person via a third party program. But it is noteworthy that it maybe dangerous for your account as Arenanet doesn’t really like people using additional software (also if you ever try to install such software try to be as safe as possible).
Edit: But I would love the addition of first person into the vanilla game, just because of machinima movies.

Hmm?
I am quite sure that I have completed all available JPs and I have yet to have First-person camera, so clearly it is not an “absolute must”.

As a GW2 “photographer” I am dying for first-person. (Although I would hate to actually game from that viewpoint). Not all vistas I want to capture have a handy object I can back up into to remove my character from the shot.
I also attended the fireworks show for the Dragon Bash. Two problems: it began at daybreak (stooooooo-pid!), and I could hardly see them because I can’t look UP well enough without a first person view. Fix those two issues before the next fireworks occasion, please. (I can’t even see my OWN fireworks).
