I’ve noticed a lot of people want to have first person camera to take beautiful shots in the game, and I myself wouldn’t mind either. My suggestion would be a literal item called a camera that you can place/plant in the world similar to a an environmental weapon that lets you view in first person. This way people could have first person but wouldn’t be able to play in first person mode, and it wouldn’t require any design changes.

They should just implement first person view. And thats all. it’s very simple and very useful, not only for taking screenshots.

+1 for first person view, very useful in caves when you have to go in to corners.

Also, i’d like to be able to scroll out further as again, the current view level can sometimes be obstructive.

Hm… although the camera concept is quite nice, and I could see it working like vistas and even having and achievement and things like those, first person should be implemented without the need of any item.

Just zoom in, you get a FPS view with your hand, and when the UI is hidden, so are the arms, so you can take clean screenshots.
