"Fixing" Orr
I would love to see greater variety of mobs too…so sick of nothing but “Risen” I really think this adds to the monotony of the zones as well…like watching I Love Lucy reruns all day every day.
@skirge: The kingdom of Orr was sunk into the sea with all of its inhabitants turned into undead. It is now Zhaitan’s home. Aside from the lack of grasping ghouls and phantoms, it makes sense to me to only see undead, though there are the occasional elementals.
Hum that would be really hard to do , since orr usually got tons of players , but they stay on certain farm events only.
Thus they cant simple use overall map data , they would need to find a path to cut the map in regions and keep this while players enter and exit these places.
I would love for them to do something about that area. I plan on only doing what I absolutely have to complete there and staying away from it otherwise. It is so tedious making your way through the map there.
I’d like to see the generic Risen count as their original species when it comes to daily kill variety.. otherwise no character in Orr would ever hit the 15/15 mark.
Also, totally agree with OP.. Mob respawn rate and density should be affected by the number of players in the area. Events should have a natural timeout, so we don’t get champion mobs camping a skill point for potentially hours and hours, making it impossible to complete the map..
Orr is pretty much supposed to be as it is at the moment. Not talking about where players are and do in there but what the overall environment and creatures are there. What the real problem is that there is very little variety in lvl 80 content. Where there is like 4-5 different lvl 1-15 areas, there is only one lvl 80 area and three lvl 75-80 areas.. and one lvl 80 area and two lvl 75-80 areas are pretty much the same.
So there are two choices. Either you go to the big undead land, or you go to the winter land.
And the only lvl 80 only area is an undead land too…
But don’t worry, there will surely be more lvl 80 areas to explore in the future ^^

I just wanted to add my support and endorsement to the OP. I have really been enjoying the game up until Orr. The spawn rate and mob density is just ridiculious and I spend more time getting armour fixed after dying than getting to my objectives or indeed collecting enough money to pay for reapirs in some particular areas. It is fine if there are many players or moving in a group but this is rare from my experience> the groups hand out for the events only running from one to the next.
Please make some adjustments as has been suggested in many forums so that level 80 in this area is as much fun as the other areas at different levels.
