As the title says, I would like it for the customized soundtrack to have an option for a playlist for each zone, city and dungeon in the game. Each of these areas have a unique character and personality that individually assigned music should be able to express, and that just isn’t possible with all of the field music being selected at random from Ambient.m3u.

Oh I’d love that, please do it! I think exactly the same.This would be great.

By the way, the sound system doesnt work very well, in combat sometimes you listen the ambient track or nothing. Also, there is no special tracks for a (for example) one city, we listen the same track for Divinity’s Reach, Hoelbrak and Rata Sum.

I think that’s not right. It is normal to listen the same tracks all the time no matter the zone?

It seems this is the case with the in-game music, so I would hope they would give us the playlist zone list as well. We’ll have to see.

Ooooh, I like this idea. I’d pop in the ffxi soundtrack.

I would love this dearly. I have enough beautiful songs from TSFH, AudioMachine, Mark Petrie, X-Ray Dog and many many many others (over 500 songs on my iPod, worth $1400) that I could put a good 2-3 in each zone and I would be a happy camper.

Not to mentions I would be leaving in all of the original GW2 music from Jeremy Soule. (GW1 music will be going. Heard enough of those songs. :p)

This is something I have wished for. I used to play World of Warcraft with the Soundtrack Addon and it
really enhanced the gameplay enviroment. This would’ve been great!

I really wish the “BossMusic” playlist actually played. So far I’ve never been able to hear the music I put in there, despite fighting the Shatterer multiple times and other event/dungeon bosses.

I’ve been forced to put some of the music I intended for bosses into the regular combat playlist… Which doesn’t work very well when I’m listening to an epic score reminiscent of two titans fighting for control of the universe while I shoot low level wolves in the face.

I remember asking this in beta myself and being told it was possible. I’d absolutely love to see this!

<Bump> Cause I would love to costumize the city music at least… Charr City is miles different from Rata Sum.

What? Customiseable soundtrack? THIS IS POSSIBLE?

An Ambient playlist is just to genereal, we need zone or area specific ambient playlists. I would love to see this in the game.
