I perosnally don’t like (tons of)tokens+laurel currency system. So here is my suggestion:
- Players can buy (nearly) everything for karma what they can’t buy for gold
- Players can earn max e.g. 2000 000 karma / week
- Players can earn karma if they complete dugeons, daily, events, etc. So we can play the game as we want and do not force us to grind.
- Limit karma gain to prevent farming – if players complete e.g CoF they gain X karma, next time x/2, x/4, etc. But if they move to AC they get full karma.

And for karma we can buy precursor weapons, dungeon armors, ascended items, etc.

I disagree with being able to buy ascended items with karma. Ascended items were introduced to feature agony resistance and extra stats to create new end-game content.
They’re supposed to be for 80 and the fractals of the mist and arah are the only end-game dungeons though fractals of the mists includes agony which makes the ascended items exactly for this dungeons purpose with a small bonus for general PvE.
There’s a reason for ascended items not being able to be sold. They’re not difficult to collect and the randomness of fractals of the mists and different difficulties are supposed to make it not as grinding as other dungeon runs. I agree with everything except ascended gear.
