Hi ANet,

Its come to many gamers attention that we need some way to voice our opinion and yet provide ANet with accurate numbers.

So what we need is forum polling that is tied to our GW2 accounts so there’s no extra voting going on.

We deserve a way to single out the majority and a way for the ANet team to focus on what is desired most.

Forum polls are not representative because most people don’t come to the forums. So there’s always that “vocal majority” thing going on.

It would be far better to have ingame surveys. People can pester ANet on the forums, and if they decide an issue is important enough, they can run an ingame poll to get the real opinion of all the players.

I think both are needed. Do the poll like SWTOR. Or maybe send a message in game to vote. The problem that we have with in game polling is that the player base is fighting against the House. We probably wouldn’t have seen ANet post a poll on the controversial top of ascended gear.

Players fighting against what? I think ingame poll sounds good. Better than forum poll, because way more people would miss the forum poll than ingame poll.
So yes if they should do something like this, it should be in game thing imo.

I think we all agree an in game poll would be best, but how would it be implemented? People can spam forums without annoying in game. Maybe use forum polls as a gauge for ANet to create in game polls?
