I have a suggestion for forum posting… add a new restriction regarding the “Why I am leaving this game” posts.

If developers really want to know why players are not playing the game anymore, they can add an email address for such posts. I’ve seen so many games get inundated with posts as to why they are leaving the game which do little more than incite a flame war. This isn’t censorship… they still have an avenue to express their opinions to the developers… if that is who they really were looking to address.

The forums fill up with these posts rather rapidly and they detract from the posts that really should be seen and discussed. I’d rather see the posts that aren’t about why they don’t plan on playing this game at the top of the forums, not buried pages below them.

They don’t like the game, I get that. But if we find gold spamming intolerable in-game chat, why should we expect “I quit posts” to be any less intolerable in forums?
