I don’t know about you, but I feel like FotM has been an extreme let down lately.
I was the type of player that didn’t get up in high levels very quickly because of school/work and other things the in the game I wanted to pursue. Then I started hanging out with my guildies in voice chat that did 26 and 30 daily early on. All I would hear is how amazing the loot was and how excited they were to collect tokens and relics.
I fought my way through the level grind before the patch, often waiting for hours to find groups. Finally I made it to 30 to do them with my guild and partake in the epic loot fest I had heard about. It has been a month of doing level 26 and 30 on almost a daily basis and I have to say something has either been nerfed in the ground or something needs to change.
Our loot drops are usually 2-4 rares a run, and maybe 1 exotic a week. To add insult to injury, there is a stockpile of tokens and relics building in our banks with absolutely no use.
The time vs payoff for doing fractals right now seems like a sadistic joke! Some of the boards take forever to get through, and some of those bosses can be mean if the group isn’t spot on, and all for what? 2 rares?
I suggest you actually do increase the loot drops the higher level you go, because I don’t see any difference between level 1 and 30.
Also make the rings and fractal wep skins salvageable or forge able. That way we can maybe get a few ectos out of the tokens that seem to do nothing but take up bank space.
Or maybe even put an orian-like box at the vendor to sink our coins into. Just something to make that place viable for our time again.
