Even though I started playing this game in April 2012, I still know about updates before that. One of the updates was at the beginning of the game, on the first day, you could switch servers. I was thinking that maybe you(ArenaNet) could bring that back. People from my server and others as well I’m sure really want to switch servers. I first joined Devona’s Rest and I am still there. But my server is lacking in performance when it comes to WvW. Me and I’m sure other people want to switch servers and go to really good WvW servers like top ranking servers. I am currently trying to switch servers and want to go to Jade Quarry or Black Gate (undecided). Other people want to go to high servers as well. I am trying to get gold to transfer but I’m still about 100g short of transferring to JQ or BG and I currently have 38g. So PLEASE Arenanet help us low ranking servers and give us a chance to switch servers. Either give us a day free or give us an exchange token that we can use to switch servers. ArenaNet please help us out.

They raised the transfer rate in gems after league. The gold to gem conversion is also worse than before league. You will have to farm for the difference. I will be surprised if they ever open it up. Besides you will be facing high queue times on the high ranking servers. Have you guested on Black Gate to talk to people in Lion’s Arch to see what the queues are like?

I had to pay an insane 1,000 gems to transfer from Piken Square [EU] to Gunnar’s Hold {EU], just to be with friends! That wasn’t even a Europe to America server transfer either, and it still cost me an arm and a leg…

I think there should be 1 free transfer given every 3-6 months or so, to any of the servers in your current country (for me, it would be any servers in Europe for example). If, however, you decide to transfer to the opposite country’s server, like from Europe to America or vice versa, then I think that should cost a small gem fee of between 200-500 gems.

There should be a roughly even amount of players on every server and no transfers.
