Guild Wars 2

Is there and when is there going to be new professions for the game? I know this is probably a question thats been asked already, and that some people don’t even care but i couldn’t find any direct answers. Also i find that if they had more professions it would add even more diversity and keep things interesting. If there are going to be new professions i think they should do something like the commando and shadowmancer on the guildwars wiki site, just a little more realistic. Or maybe make a light and/or dark magic user with angelic or demonic features in both appearance and skills. Some may find this to be similar to the necromancer but i feel like it can be taken in a different direction. Anyways i was just hoping for some answers.

If anything they should add another heavy armor wearing profession to the game. Like a templar or something. And with this profession, pikes and two-handed axes.

Heavy armor pole arm or pike man please.
