GW2: Person finder
anyone at all?, please!!!
Despite the fact thakitten (edit: "that" and "it" cannot be next to one another, gg filter over-zealously worried about a bird species) was mostly used to facilitate trading, GW1 eventually added an interface for advertising interest in exploration, mission and quest completion, guild recruitment, and dungeon parties.
I mention this because I have always felt a game like this can benefit from an in-game LFG tool of some kind (don’t get me wrong, the site is nice, but it’s all an extra step and has no real integration to the game and party interface) and there is precedent for it in Guild Wars.

As an aside, despite being more visually appealing, shame on gw2lfg.net for crawling gw2lfg.com to generate data.
They’re working on a looking for group tool already and it will be looking for groups for all kinds of content, not yet dungeons, so if you just wait patiently it’ll get here sooner or later. lol
The current “looking for group” method is bland, unspecific, and unused. GW1 was great and heavily relied on. I don’t see why they got rid of the method for GW2. Waiting next to a dungeon to find someone that is willing to wait with me is a pain. If there could be a Looking For Group box you could pull up and on it is a “dungeon” tab that can be seen by anyone in the game, and then local tabs for anyone in the territory and you type what specifically you are looking for. “LFG Ascalonian Catacombs” and it shows something like 3/5 for the size the party already is. “LFG Temple Lyssa”. “LFG champion dredge”. It would make communal playing so much easier.
the "" LFG …. " is a great idea.
