Guild Wars 2

The food in this game makes me want to cook, and I’ve heard many other players say the same thing.

I would purchase and use a recipe book containing preparable versions of the cooking recipes, and I bet others would too. (With some leeway for substitutions as necessary; moa are slightly extinct, for example, and I’m not sure where to find omnomberries…)

Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

As far as I know, this suggestion has not been made yet.
The illustrations for the food in-game are really, really hnnghh. drools It is difficult to really focus on leveling Cooking when my stomach is growling.

There have been several occasions where some of the recipes wound up on my dinner table at home.

I love this idea and fully support it.

PS: I personally think it would make a really good Christmas present as well.

Other games have had cookbooks published (look at Skyrim) so I am sure a talented sort of person could do it here too. Meanwhile, try googling. I believe a few Tyrian recipes are already on the internet.

I did not play Skyrim.
I do not have an interest in Skyrim.

However, I would love a Guild Wars 2 Cookbook on my shelf, alongside all my other Guild Wars memorabilia.
