GW2 and Swtor 1st moth comparison graphs.

Wait? GW2 & Swtor have moths?

They are 1st month graphs… What is “wrong unreliable”? The evidence is the two graphs….
wrong forum lol…

GW2 10
SWTOR 9
Now you have more evidence. I just made those two numbers below. Your sample size is one because I said it, but its still evidence, so therefore its valid.
So what exactly are you suggesting? xD
Less you’re getting data from the company itself the figures are not correct.
Those graphs are not “nearly identical”. In particular, the trending slopes are completely different, and GW2 is rapidly losing customers, if that data is correct, which I suspect it’s not.
Given the wide range of problems with GW2, evidence for which there is this very forum (suggestions), I suspect this title will continue to bleed subs until some of the customer suggestions are implemented.
Until then, ArenaNet will hold onto it’s flawed design philosophy because they don’t have to care. In order to complain, ArenaNet already has your money. Win-win for them.

You obviously didn’t play D3. This game is 110% perfection when compared to that POS.

1. Except GW2 doesn’t require a sub fee..
2. What flawed design philosophy? The game has been praised for it’s design.
GW2 had 400,000 players on at once within the month of launch and this only shows a small portion of that because its from a site that tracks its users stats.
So while 15,000 xfire users may have played guild wars 2 and then the number dropped as shown in the graph your still missing the other 385,000 players. thats not 10% of players online at that time…
WoW is very popular, has 9mil subscribers, and numbers arent high, wow has max 20k ppls at xfire, when tbc comes out and has about 10mil subscribers… (there are tons of free servers too !!!!)
Xfire is better for FPS games and moba games (LoL and COD always first) not mmo…
Wait, are these graphs from Xfire? I’ve heard of Xfire but have never used it so what relevance does this graph have? I doubt most of the player-base uses it anyway.

Correct. You have to pay for the game (give the money to ArenaNet) before you can complain. You can’t complain until you have paid for the game.
You can’t post on these forums (complain) until you have a valid account, which requires you paying for the game.

Xfire show hours played over the life of a game. It does not show population, but a correlation can be made from the upward or downward trend.
Xfire was used to predict the first ever WoW quarterly loss a couple months be for it was announced. It also predicted the the downward trend in swtor’s, rifts, and TSW’s population.
Again we can not say how many players are playing, but what we can say is that there are less xfire users playing, and that those players are playing less.

after month, everyone said Swtor is lame as hell. too many conversation scenes and someone said his fingers are very painful to skip those scenes. and i see swtor again. swtor graphics look very old and poor now.

he is troll
do you know that everyone is too busy to play gw2??? Xfire and twitch is for serious nerds who plays old game everydays. and i dont believe only 80,000 people are playing gw2. when i was playing archeage 5th closed beta, 150,000 people were invited on this year. and do you think most people watch Xfire? no one watchs Xfire. old as hell.
and if you want to do it in fair way,
you should compare league of legends to guild wars 2.
show us the graph of league legends on xfire.
we will admit gw2 is shi*
let’s go playing league of legends!

Another possibility is XFire adversly affects playing GW2. I know I recently stopped opening steam (started again to bug friends to play GW2 with me) as I didn’t care, but maybe there’s some incompatibility with GW2 and Xfire? (Anyone use both?)

GW2 has as many users playing GW2 as WoW does. Double the players using compared to swtor at the same period in time.
Graphs in xfire showing hours played not players, gw2 has 400k players online, in xfire only 14k…
XFire is just a subset of players.
Not everyone uses things like Steam, Xfire or Raptr. Their stats are limited to their own users.
All it tells us is how many xfire users played ToR and how many played GW2 during the first month, many players arent xfire users. So its full of flaws.
Also, this game doesnt need the ammount of players ToR had even at release, becuase this game isnt littered with servers. It has enough servers so people cant pick their type of population, in this case medium to full, its been like that since release.
I personally switched servers because I didnt like medium population, but some do. There is no issue with the player base until servers go very low or empty, at which point people will migrate to other servers. There is no issue yet, however a ToR server that was full at release was close to empty 3 weeks later.
