Game Improvement - Save Trait Lines
There is an un-met need here. I agree 100 percent. Adding a Black Lion Chest loot for a field trait reset would be handy to, and I think it would even be a commonly purchased gem-store item, were it sold separately.
Linking another thread tells me nothing except that others agree. The fact of the matter is that this needs to be implemented to please those of us who are affected by having multiple builds.
And quite frankly I’d like to think that my OP has a lot more ways of how to fix it and make it interact with the current game world rather than just stating “this should be added because it was in GW1”
I would like this as well. I regularly switch through multiple builds. I have a raid build and a small groups guerrilla warfare build. I imagine if I ran dungeons I would have a build for that too. I switch between these builds at least twice a day. These builds live on the bookmark toolbar in my browser. It would be nice to switch them back and forth more easily. I don’t mind if a fee is involved, I have the money and it enforces the idea of choosing your build wisely and not letting you switch on the fly. However I like the idea switching builds easier inside the game.
Furthermore I would like it to switch my gear and the utilities on my bar as well. This would be a one stop switch for everything. I would like to go to the trainer, pay the fee, switch my build, then go to the bank and and grab my gear. I know ANET does not use addons but this is something I sorely miss from other games.
A build saver would definitely be great for the multiple game modes within the game as well as having multiple builds within the game mode itself.
For SPvP, it’d be great to save multiple trait and gear sets to go along with them instead of having to switch out all the time for different group comps.
For WvW and PvE, I’m sure people also have different builds for dungeoneering, small party roaming, large squad based combat, etc. It’d be great to have a build saver for all of that.
Definitely: this is one of the things another family member complained about (we are all GW1 vets). I don’t care if we have to pay to switch, just please help us remember our builds without use of an outside website.
