Yup mine still says 300… the others are listed as 600/$20 1200/$35 2000/$50

This. I almost choked when I learned that The Secret World charges a monthly subscription and a tenner per set of clothing that actually looks good on top of that. Compared to that, GW2 is paradise, even if NCSoft is still as evil of a corporation as, well, any corporation anywhere, ever.

Even if they are, Blizzard, EA, and Bioware beat out NcSoft any day. First they will charge you $60 for an EXTREMELY incomplete Title, Then they will charge you for; Monthly access, DLC, Extra Armor/Cosmetic Items etc, etc.

NCSoft has done all of the above as well. It just seems that ArenaNet is very successful in getting NCSoft to let them do their own thing. Which is quite laudable.

Never played any other NC Soft game other than the Guild Wars Series, So I guess I should have refrained from speaking. Sorry bout that (I am actually genuinely sorry, Not being sarcastic here.)

Just checked in-game myself. Says 800 for the price you are quoting, which is what it’s always been for me.

I buy gems once a month in lieu of a monthly fee to support the game. You know what’s great about using real currency to buy in-game currency? You don’t have to if you don’t want to! Crazy, right?! No one is forcing you to buy gems, dear, so calm down.
