Hey guys
Here I will present you a suggestion for a possible future item for the gem store. I did not name it but here it is how the item would work.
Similiar to the recent Transmutations spliter what this item/scroll would do is take a soulbound item a make it accountbound again so that we could take it to another character.

I though of this because I have the Bone Pick in my Elementalist, as I have in my Guardian and I have the Molten Aliance pick in my Thief. The thing is I from a months now never used my Elementalist again, this might sound silly but I put ir there because I had 1 pick left and since my Ele was the only one with no permanent gathering tool I put it there because I though someday I would play with it again, but I will not, in fact I just did not delete it yet because of the Bone Pick being there (it only have exotic items). So with this item I could take the Pick out of my Ele and put it to another character (as for example my new Warrior that I’m loving and will be playing for quite a while). The same with Legendary weapons, if I have one of those, for example in my Guardian, but don’t feel like to play Guardian again (right now I only play with my Thief) and I have a Sunrise there, with this I could tranfer the Sunrise to my Warrior (this is just an example because I don’t have a Legendary weapon).
I think an item like this would be of a great deal and great help. In my case it would be because as I’m so used to the permanent pick and axe I just forget to buy new ones and whenever I need them again I don’t have any shop close and having to go back buy new ones in the midle of exploration or a heart is kinda of a pain in the … and since the Bone Pick is gone it can be mounth until the next one (I’m still hoping that they bring it back at Chrismas), so an item like the one I descrebid I could just pick the one from my Ele that I don’t use anymore and put it on some character that I will use (since even if Warrior doesn’t become my main it will problably because the farming one, so I will be playing on it)

Would be great for my legendary, if I ever change main. What else could be added for say 1k gems is a permanent account bound feature, meaning it never becomes soulbound again.

Not going to happen.

Those items are soulbound on use for at least two reasons. First up is to maximize the potential cash that you get. After all, if they were account bound, no one would buy more than 1. Second up is that the additional gem usage from being soulbound functions as a gem sink, which is just as crucial for the gem economy as all the gold sinks are for the gold.

Lol, they’re not just going to sell you the ability to turn off a sink. I guess you would also like the ability to spend 1000 gems to never have to pay fees on the TP? Or 1000 gems to eliminate your waypoint costs?

As it stands ( unless it got nerfed, but I don’t recall anyone saying the trick has been nerfed ) I cant account bound it for free, its just a annoyance, may as well make it available to make some money.

~I agree, mainly to place gear on other ‘toons’ without having to invest a significant amount of time to ‘purchase’ another…
I regret to admit to the bad choices during my ‘education’ of the game for the sake of experimentation and care for some consolation for the irreversible investments…
