I’d absolutely love to be able to purchase gems by other means than credit card and PayPal. The problem with PayPal for me is that I have to wait several days for the transaction to fully complete, it’d be much nicer if we could transfer the money directly from our bank accounts, or perhaps through a servuce such as MoneyBookers.
I’d rather not sign up for a credit card just so I can use PayPal instantly, whilst with MoneyBookers direct wiretransfers is no problem.

I may be wrong, but I’m quite sure that we don’t have those in Sweden, and even if we do, I highly doubt we do in the tiny city of roughly 30.000 people which I live in.
Purchasing online is much simpler, and personally I feel that having as many options available as possible is a good thing.

Most online games I’ve played in the past usually include mobile payment as well as credit card transfers, PayPal and/or MoneyBookers.

One of those many many many stores has got to be by you, I been to Sweden it is not that populated that that many stores is not closer than 2 days travel for you. I am beating that one of them is most an hour tops from you. So two hours is better than 2 days ;-)

I would never trust anyone selling on Ebay for gem cards.
I am not sure if this is possible or not but I see the potential for the scam to work like this…. the ebay seller bought the gem cards with a stolen Credit Card, then sold them to you at a discount and then you use the gem cards on your account. After a month or so you get perma banned from GW2 cause you used stolen goods to pay for gems.

Even though you was not aware of the stolen CC, you are still responsible for your account to not use stolen goods to pay for stuff on your account.

Actually gummy I am sure there is a huge market for this as you said, but I have family member’s that live on Ebay and if you purchase form reputable sellers this will not happen.

So where I wouldn’t want to buy a Gem card form ebay as it would take 2 to 5 days anyhow to get it the fact of stolen merchandise is the least of my worries. You just have to do a lil research.
