Guild Wars 2

Sadly I’m the last of 8 friends that came over from EvE still playing guild wars. The reasons why are pretty obvious at this point. Or maybe they are not? Mostly they were tired of being alienated and seen as only a dollar sign, and due to extreme lack of end game content.

No lacking of schemes to get people to buy stuff in the gem store though. God forbid if there were frequent disconnects when making gem store purchases (fractal) anet would bend over backwards making sure there was a fix, but don’t worry about the countless hours we’ve collectively wasted trying to get through whatever level fractal due to random dc’s leading to full party rage dc’s. Our time apparently means nothing to this company, but they sure do love our money. Too bad they would be able to get a lot more of it if people still wanted to play the game. How they are not seeing that at this point still alludes me yet again for Christmas we get blatantly obvious drug dealer type schemes rubbing some free mini pets in our face and then posting the rest up in gem store.

I had a contact list which was largely people I had met running dungeons that I considered good respectable players of about maybe 40 entries. Of those 40 there are normally 2 online, and that is out of 3 that actually still come on. The rest are completely MIA. No surprise here. That is just my small cross section. I can’t imagine what the real numbers are and how this company is still pulling the same crap that alienated a large majority of their player base.

The “company run by gamers” model sounds nice on paper but unfortunately this group of gamers are cash grabbing kittens. While its not completely incomprehensible considering the state of the economy that these blokes would try to do whatever the can to line their pockets, perhaps throwing a few people in the mix that actually know about business and customer relations would have prevented mass and obvious alienation of your client base and in the long run better revenue streams.

So my suggestion is that anet starts taking the George Costanza approach. Since pretty much EVERY decision they have made since launch has been wrong all they need to do is simply start doing THE OPPOSITE.

This fool calls Arena net money hungry gammers and yet doesn’t realize that there is no monthly subscription fees to play the game. So why is paying 10 dollars for a mini pet that outrageous ?

Hell World of Warcraft has X mini pets in the game and X mini pets they sell in their online store. Micro transactions is what keeps this game going. It just sounds like your use to a game that has the Highest learning curve of any game, no actual GM support, " Look I got scammed cause I am a new player open ticket report GM tells you that you should have known better maybe next time you wont fall for it." Where you can be obliteration in a completely secure system by suicide pirate crews so you never can really enjoy getting to learn the ridiculously steep learning curve of the game. Your right GW2 is horrible lets throw a riot and we will all quit after you do. BE A LEADER AND LEAD THE WAY GEORGE!

EvE online is a great game if the interface was actually something that didn’t require 6 hours to learn then another 7 to get use to, it would be a great game if GM’s actually did something to people scamming and ripping people off. It would be a great game if system securities meant a kitten thing and protected you. It would be a great game if you could actually navigate rather than pick location ste destination and fly there. Other than that the game is beautiful for an older game and it is seamless and once you get use to the million different options and controls you have it can be a fun game.

Go troll somewhere different, you are expecting to get some kind of response out of your post form the Dev’s your mistaken I promise you that. if you don’t like it move on.
