Get Fit A-Net!

So I was thinking of a bizarre, outside the box, but ultimately profitable and quirky idea.

I will lay it out there. Have A-Net hook up with a major chain of Fitness Club (like LA Fitness, Ballys, 24-Hour Fitness, etc). Perhaps even one in the EU, Asian, and Australian markets.

They could send you habits of working out. If a person works out for like 3 hours in a week, they get X amount of gems (a small token amount). Every hour gets an extra amount of gems.

Obviously, this could be a revenue source because of the promotional aspects. It would generate a lot of interesting buzz for the game in the media. From a player aspect, we would be earning something that we could use like Gems (or some other manner of currency already used in game. I will leave it to you guys to think of something).

It would be like a real life Daily Achievement Heck we could even have a monthly too!

What the… Ballys? Really? There’s a place called Ballys? And a gym no less?

Hilarious.

How many gamers do you see going to the gym? The two industries conflict with each other and would make negotiating a promotional deal very complicated. As a CEO of a gym, you would think twice about promoting games.

This idea is one of the more ridiculous i have seen.

I take my hat off to you good sir.

Precisely because gamers do less exercise an idea like this has some merit.

But I would never tie it to a gym.
Walking on the spot or doing some monotone exercise is in no way as good as running through an outdoors circuit with different obstacles and trials.

Gyms can’t compare to something like running around in a mountain trail.
