I was looking at the achievements today and was disappointed seeing all the hall of heroes achievements.

I I’ll start by saying GW1 was an awesome game, and I’d still play it on occasion and pwn it up in faction battles if my account still existed(it was hacked and the original e-mail address I used is gone). It is so uniquely different compared to GW2 and there is so much history that GW2 players should have a way to get a GW1 account and bind the two together.

A gem store purchase would be cool or otherwise some sort of quest line to complete.

• Link GW2 account to GW1
• If you can’t figure it out, open a support ticket

Binding isn’t what I was getting at through the thread. By the title, I am suggesting a way to obtain GW1 through GW2.

Ah like buying it with gems? That’s something that seems feasible actually since you can make traditionally money purchases like character slots with gems. Depending on how long they plan on supporting GW1 that is otherwise, lots of nerd rage.

Why not just buy it & support the firms?
Game is cheap enough & worth it, compared to gw2, by miles.

If it is bought with gems, it is bought with real money. Which supports the firms.

So I’m not sure what this post is suggesting that isn’t already in the world? Buy gw, connect it to your gw2 account.

I do agree with OP. Gem purchase would be pretty nice.

I have 50/50 so it doesn’t influence me, but making the game more easy to get is all fine and dandy with me.

GW2 is the best MMO in the world, GW1 never was one. But as an action-RPG it is the best since Diablo 2.
