Get Rid of Dynamic Leveling

I also disagree. I really like the dynamic leveling, because it opens up the possibilities of places where you can play at the high levels. I mean who wants to be stuck to 3 or 4 zones at level 80. Plus, you can play on your level 80 with your lowbie friends and not feel like you completely over power everything and are wasting your time one-shotting enemies that you get crap loot for.
I’m also opposed to this. The game is meant to be challenging regardless of your level or the zone you’re in. Getting rid of dynamic levelling will see virtually all low-level zones become deserted overnight and leave new players/characters having to take on champion mobs/dynamic events on their own.
its pretty sad when you get killed by things half your level.
Wait… what? How do you get killed by lv 40 stuff? Did you go alone against 20-30 mobs?

That just means you’ll have to practice your blocking, jumping, dodging and timing skills. It also helps to use any blocking and interrupt skills during combat as well.
I play a Level 80 Sylvari Engineer, one of the worse races for jumping and dodging. It doesn’t help that they’re also the slowest race on the face of Tyria. Even Quaggans are faster than Sylvari. LOL.
I’ve been forced to perfect my jumping, dodging, and timing skills during PvE and WvW combat. It’s the only way for him to survive the entire game. Unless your character has some sort of super armor, he/she can’t just stand there and hack the enemy to pieces.
I absolutely love dynamic leveling.
I am not much of an alt player, so in a lot of other games I have ran into the situation where my friends are leveling alts and all I can do is pretty much sit around and wait for them to get up to my level. And I have been on the opposite side too: When I started a game with a friend, they stayed with me for the first 20 or so levels, playing on a completely new character. However, after that, they grew bored of it and left me to level alone until I was very high level.
With dynamic leveling, all of that has literally disappeared. A friend starts a new character? Well, I can with them and do hearts I have yet to do or participate in dynamic events in the area. I start a new character? A friend can come along with their level 80 and it won’t trivialize my content.
I think that dynamic balancing system is great. There is no lends itself as WoW when he went from lvl 80 to lvl farm locations including 60 Dungen. This system definitely NOT DISTURB
imo dynamic leveling is one of the best things gw2 has. makes lower level content a bit more challenging
if you have a problem with ‘i get hit i die’ then you have a lot to improve in the ’don’t get hit’ sector. tip: gw2 allows to attack while moving, and moving is #1 damage avoidance mechanic

I agree with you – in other games the world gets smaller as you get higher level. I was level 80 for a really long time before I set foot in Orr. Dynamic leveling allowed me to experience all the starter areas without having to make an alt.
The most important thing in my experience is to keep your gear current to your level. I had forgotten about my underwater weapon being 10 or so levels away from my real level and got my butt handed to me in that underwater event in the low level Asura zone. If your gear is close to your level it seems to scale better (even if it is only masterwork gear). I did a lot of group events in lower level zones solo without much problem.
It’s also nice that you can get XP and level appropriate drops when you’re cruising around looking for T1 crafting materials so you aren’t penalized for waiting to level your crafting (or trying to take advantage of a lack of supply on the market).

I disagree, and honestly I would rather they make it down-level stats even more than it does now.
When I take one of my lvl 80s to play in a lowbie area, I want it to feel like I’m playing a lowbie. When I help a true lowbie character with an event, I want to feel like I’m not detracting from that player’s experience by mowing down groups of mobs just by auto-attacking. I don’t want to be running around 2-shotting everything.
I’d actually love a level-less system, but this is the closest I’ll get, so I’ll take it.
