Tired of waiting 40 minutes for a dragon only to be dced before it starts and get stuck in Overflow because of kitten from other servers coming over to go through the loophole that was created with only getting the chest from World Bosses 1 time a day.

They shouldn’t get rid of guesting, they just need to change it a little so that people don’t abuse it.

As I’ve written in many of these threads, either make sure everyone only gets one chest every day per account, or make the chests unlootable while guesting. Both will fix the problem.

I keep seeing those threads and I have to ask: how do we know Guesting is the problem?

We had more then enough players to cause the creation of overflows before Guesting was introduced.

But, lets say we do “get rid of guesting”; what happens if you still get an overflow for a world event then? Who would you “kick”? Or would you have the loot be lees interesting? Then we would be back to square one.

Here’s an idea: would there be a possibility to sync up an overflow’s event status with the events from the world the first player in overflow came from? Then, if a bunch of poeple move to Frostgorge Sound to kill the Claw of Jormag on say, Jade Quarry, and cause an overflow instance to be created, that instance would be on the same timers as Jade Quarry for its events.

Even though guesting isn’t the entire reason someone could get moved into overflow, it is still a big part of it.
And an overflow isn’t specific to just one server, everyone from every server (most likely divided into US and EU) go into the same overflow, and when that fills up into the next overflow. Giving every server their own overflow would create more overflows than necessary and would cause the overflows to be very underpopulated
