Guild Wars 2

I am asking for the Mystic Forge to be a straight up crafting device with set recipes. I feel the RNG part of it is detrimental to fun in the game. Not everyone wants to throw items in it and see them disappear. It’s not been nicknamed the Mystic Toilet for nothing. I do enjoy this game, but it’s frustrating and unfun to try to get something from the Mystic Forge. It’s the reason why I probably won’t ever get a Legendary weapon. I have zero interest in throwing hundreds of items in the Forge and hoping RNG favors me. In Guild Wars 1, things might cost a lot of money, but you were assured to get what spent it on. Now you can spend all your money and not get anything. I don’t feel this is good game design. Let the components be rare and costly, I will be glad to farm or pay for them. Let the precursor be from a difficult and murderous dungeon. I will run it however any times it takes. ANYTHING but RNG.
