Get rid of WvWvW tokens and go to a point score system go to a system similar to Karma only separate. You earn currency that way from doing damage or whatever method you want to divide it up by, but get rid of the Token loot.

Mike Ferguson said in beta that they didn’t use a damage based system because they “did not want to encourage players just farming each other”

So instead players farm NPCs.

And yet farming players or doing jumping puzzles is the best way to earn tokens :/ Actually contributing to WvW results in not nearly enough tokens.

This is true. I only really play WvW, from Lv11 upwards.
And since release day I have earned a whopping 206 Honor Badges.
WHAO NELLY!
That can almost get me a single item!

I don’t want to be forced to kill players and NPCs for Honor Badges. Why do I only get honored when I kill? Why can’t I get honored when I defend a tower or take a camp?

I agree, give us a currency like Karma for WvW.

The Badges and Bag system is terrible. It’s ridiculous expecting you to run around and collect bags in the heat of battle … tell me, how am I supposed to see bags when I can barely see my own character due to AoE and then you have to MOVE, MOVE even after taking a spot because there are more coming.

Fast paced WvW is painfully slow if you stop and pick up loot bags.

There has to be a better system, maybe autoloot bags to a player or something. I’ve had to leave “sparklies” because there was a group coming up behind us and we had to move into an another area fast or be killed.

I agree, but make it so there’s a heirachy of how lucrative certain activities are to promote tactical gameplay and not zerging (numbers courtesy of my backside):

-Keeping a point adds a set amount of points in a certain time frame (i.e. 100 per minute). Alternatively, the amount of points at the end of every 15 minutes gets added.
-Successfully defending a point from an attack earns a set amount (say, 1000, 800, 750, 600, depending on the size / points contribution of the point)
-Successfully taking a point earns a set amount (say, 500)
-Successfully recruiting an NPC group – (200)
-Successfully contributing to the creation of siege equipment (in terms of Supply) – 10 per supply contributed.
- Successfully escorting / killing a Dolyak – 50 points
-Contributing to killing a player – 2

Yeah, loot bags for honor badges are just a bad idea. I can’t even begin to guess how many bags I’ve never noticed/looted and how many badges might have been in them.
