Agreed. This makes sense for items that are actually special, like the gemstore Doll.
But for Fractal rings that have an identical option with a different name?

The same stat’ed ring is not identical, it has a different slot. This is intentional so that you can get one with +5AR +5 ____ without it being a versatile but your 2nd must be versatile to get the same additional stat.
