Give me something to spend Fractal Relics on
Why not just convert them to skill points?
Why not just convert them to skill points?
I already have the Bloodstone shard for my legendary and now nothing else to get with the 150 skill points I already have banked up.

Not interested in any of the other things you can craft with your skill points?
Honestly, I convert excess skill points to cash at a fairly high rate…. usually making mystic forge items for sale, but I also have a hankering to put things like a Whisperblade + The Anomoly on my mesmer…. and that’s 300 skill points right there!
Extra Skill points why when eveything you have tends to be CLOSE to max out easyly by the time you hit levle 80? (SO Many skill quests and such out there and about without even getting a tenth of them you can get so much skill points)
Mystic Forge Items requires other things besides just basic Skill points.
Personaly I have to agree why are Fractiol Shards pretty pointless?
The point I was trying to make is that skill points have a measurable value in creating items which are cool to use on their own merits, or have value in excess of their cost in raw materials if sold. Hence: Skill points = Money. So, if fractal relics are taking up bank space…. why not convert them to skill points, which can then be used for other ventures?

And the point the OP was trying to make (At least when i read it) IS that EVEY other dungeon gives rewards that have meaning / something you can spend it on without any other means to get said items except by doing said dungion or such
I Could spend gold to get say runes of the noble or do CM and spend the shards on a pretty good MF set of Runes or armor or Weapons
Fract dosnt have that at all.
Your stating get the skill point boost and force yourself to go and combine it with other crafting materiol in order to do ANYTHING at all with the fractol loot?
Uhm, I seriously do not think fractals need to have any more incentive for people to do them.
Besides, the stuff you can buy with fractal relics is pretty good.
Do you have the capasitators for each of your alts already?
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.

Given that Fractals is the only place to obtain an Ascended Back item, and still (arguably) the best place to obtain Ascended Rings, and that none of the other dungeons reward things like 20 slot boxes which cost 10g to craft via other methods…. I think the argument that you need more things to do with fractal relics falls a bit flat compared to other dungeons.
After all, if you run CoF into the ground, you can gear your characters, but then what? You can’t sell the things you get from CoF tokens directly, you only ever need so many CoF weapons, and then what do you do with your tokens?
With Fractal Relics, you can convert them to skill points, which can be used for Mystic Forge items….. with a surplus of CoF tokens, you can snag rares to salvage for ectos, or huck weapons into the mystic forge.
In both cases you hit a wall of excess tokens pretty quickly where the amount of useful things to do with your tokens diminishes.
I like dungeons, and I routinely flush 6-8 stacks of tokens at a time into armor and weapons, usually spanning 2-3 dungeons, but if you spend so much time in Fractals that you have a problem with extra relics, then you have the exact same problem as if you spent equal time in any other dungeon.

I agree there are some very nice items you can get with relics BUT once you have all you need the relics just start piling up in your bank.
In other dungeons you can spend the tokens on gear that can be salvaged or dumped into the mystic forge, so there is a reason to play them and a use for the rewards. I have an entire bank slot filled with relics and nothing to spend them on, I have all the 20 slot boxes I can use, I have ascended back pieces and no need for any more skill points or shards so I just keep loosing more and more bank space.
I like FotM but will have to stop trying for my Fractal GS soon because my bank can’t take the load much longer.
Wow, but I think you agree that fractals don’t need any more things to lure people in. Especially since you seem to have done some 5000 relics above your need.
Besides, turning the relics to money is still viable option, as per stated before.

The problem here is not that fractal relics have nothing to be spent on its that you’re lazy…
You have 4 options.
1: Let them pile up in your bank
2: Destroy them
3: Turn them into Skill Points and have a ton of skill points which do not take up any space (READ: Better than option 2 in everyway)
4: Turn them into Skill Points and then turn the skill points into money.
You spend idk, lets assume 1g on buying materials. Combine with something you bought using skill points, sell the end result for more than 1g. Fractal relics have been turned into money without leaving Lions Arch!
For example, you can buy Molten Cores at around 5 silver. Get 2 of them with 1 elonian wine and 1 pile of crystalline dust. Put them into the mystic forge with crystals that you bought with fractal relics and there you go. Sell them. Fairly certain that only gets 10 silver per lodestone which is 10 silver per crystal. Cost 3 skill points to get 5 crystals.
If you want to be lazy then destroy them but you’re destroying cash.
This topic should be about Prestine relics. All you can buy is rings and I already have a dozen rings from drops so now I have prestine fractals and nothing to spend them on.
