Give rangers more pet options
i would like to have a raptor as pet, however, i also want the pet to actually work correctly for ones.
I second. It would be neat to have a griffon, skelk, or raptor as a pet. However, Rangers do have an impressive assortment of available pets as it is.
It seems a bit odd, but I’d love to have the ability to have no pet at all for the ranger, and with the necromancer, the ability to not have any minions summoned upon killing an enemy in some particular trait line – cause it attracts agro which sometimes I don’t necessarily want XD
Would be cool to have some new pets though, maybe some more underwater ones? The scorpion fish thing looks cool cause it glows in the dark and all that

I’d love more pet options but the ability to disable your pet completely would be a very good option. I am tired of putting my pet away, only for it to pop up again anytime I take damage.

I would like a polar bear that is actually white. Maybe change his special ability so he breaks a Coca-cola bottle and stabs the enemy with it. Seriously I don’t know what that thing is but it isn’t a polar bear.

HA HA HA HA I second this idea.
Since we are talking ranger pets. Not only would I like to be able to turn off the pet and keep him off, (having him pop up every time I fall during a jumping puzzle is annoying) I like to be able to give my pet a name that actually sticks to that pet.
I’d like to have
- Griffons as tameble pets!!! My greatest wish!!!
- Raptosr as tamable pets…
- Dolphins as tamable pets…
I a gree… The polar bears should be – White!
And the pets should also REMEMBER THEIR NAMES!!!
polar bears are not really white, they are broken white:

Yes disabling pets would be nice too, but seeing as ANet is firm on their decision to make pets the ranger mechanic we might as well get used to it. At least they can offer us new shiny pets to pokemon battle with. I too like the scorpion fish Zaoda.
How about they make our pets move while they attack first! After that, yes, please more pet options. I also find it unfair that HoM players have an actual advantage, they can run doubles of the same pet, which you cannot do if you don’t have those HoM pets. HoM armor and weapon skins are purely aesthetic, but the pets are an actual game changing item that not everyone can access.

That’s whiter than the polar bears we have now.
I really want the Alpine Stalker as a pet, because they look like tiny, white tigers!
What do you mean they can run doubles of the HoM pets Milky?
He means that we have 2 skins for one pet doing the same thing.
Example: The Pink Moa Causes comfusion, so does the Black Moa that is from HoM. 2 choises of looks for the pet doing the same thing.
All the HoM pets are actually just different looking skins for pets that we already have/can find somewhere in the GW2 World.
That means that we can have both these pets Active on the pet tabs. I can run pink moa as my first pet and black moa as my second… keeping the same f2 skill no matter wich one of them I use.

they did this for the advantage thing, if the black moa had a powerful skill it would be unfair for non-GW1 players, if it has a weak skill it becomes completely useless.
Oooh I see well I don’t see many people running moas so I don’t think it’s too unfair.
