No one likes being poor, no one likes having to farm to not be poor, no one likes anti-farm policies keeping them from being able to farm to not be poor.

Give us more gold from actually playing the game so we aren’t forced to drive the trade post into the ground and kill ourselves halfway to a tier 3 cultural set or commander icon or legendary weapon when we realize how much we have left to go.

Adjust dungeon loot so that people have a reason to be there beyond getting tokens. As it is right now all you ever do is vendor everything that drops anyway. Make events give more than the cost of a single waypoint on a successful clear. Have chests drop useful items instead of white crap that your character can’t even wear.

Economies don’t work that way. If they reward more gold to everyone, then the prices will simply go up, and the Legendaries will be just as impossible to get.

Keep in mind that everything you listed is a vanity item that has no impact on your performance. You can get crafted exotics quite cheaply or get a dungeon set in less than a week.

More gold will cause inflation. I would rather not pay 20g per rune/sigil. Dungeons do serve a purpose other than getting tokens. They give exp, runes, crafting materials, and are fun to do.

Also all the gear you vendor is a source of income, sometimes half a gold on a good run or at least a quarter on a bad one. You’re not poor, you just have a steady income which should allow you everything you want if you save up.

In real life I earn enough and after expenses and fun, not a whole lot remains. I save whatever I can to buy a car, house (ie legendaries). I expect my legendary to take about a year to save up for, which is about the same time I needed for my car. Yet in real life I don’t consider myself poor, actually I consider myself pretty rich.

If I can’t play Guild Wars 2 at work, I won’t work in Guild Wars 2 either.
