I’d like to see a global group finder for dungeons runs added to the game.

I don’t like having to troll through multiple zones looking for people or having the run come to an abrupt end because someone left and we can’t find a replacement.

Ideally the group finder would allow us to indicate if we are looking for story mode or explorable mode and which path in explorable we are looking to do.

I love this game, but i still miss that feature!
Most of the times, I play the game when my guild is asleep and I can’t find any group to do dungeons. If we get a group finder it will be more easy. World of Warcraft has that feature and don’t want to return to that game because I think that GuildWars 2 is better, but maybe I’ll change because I can’t find groups to do dungeons.

Excellent I have found it, I was directed to this thread by the GW2 Facebook page. I will directly quote my post from there “I dont mean to bring any WoW references in, but there was one feature that i really enjoyed in my brief time playing. That was the dungeon find, if we could get some type of queue system that served the same purpose it would certainly facilitate a smoother experience.” Though I would like to see a more indepth queue system that could include filters for avg group level, dungeons in process, etc. etc.

I agree with having a dungeon finder. Also, I would like to see options for story mode or explore mode (with explore mode giving options to select which path(s) you would like to participate in) as queue and filter options.

This can only strengthen the amount of people that will get to see dungeon content. Please, do not dumb down the difficulty just because of random groups. Keep the difficulty inline as it is (disregarding any future balancing issues to fix things). Don’t be like that other game and nerf the ba-jebus out of the content please.

Please seriously consider putting this in ASAP; as well as the guesting system. Thank you for listening.

Bump! I agree with Squared, do not dumb the difficulty or otherwise change the dungeon experience. We seek only a way to create or join functional dungeon groups in a more reasonable manner. As of now I have been outside of AC for about an hour looking for a group for a specific path, of course i have been farming the harpy event but it would be much more convenient if there were a group system in place. *Another idea, instead of having the group instant port to the dungeon from the queue system. Have them receive a clear notice that a group is ready with a “join” or “decline” button, this would form the group and it would still be their responsibility to make it to the dungeon through contested waypoints or for some players unknown map regions. Also, I would make sure that a player is unable to join the queue for a group unless they meet the minimum requirements for that dungeon and mode.

Would very much like to see this feature built into the game as well. I have recently found it very difficult to find groups, especially for Story mode runs as I am somewhat late to the game and am finding most people are looking for Exp mode token farming.

I love this game so far, but think it is badly missing this function !

I would also like to see this feature. Maybe what they can do is something similar to the tournament pvp queue where the players have to be in the same map and they should put the dungeon queue npc outside of the dungeon itself so that they still need to explore the dungeon entrance to be able to enter the dungeon. I think they could use that system and just make so players can select which queue to join whether they would like to join SM or EM and also which path for EM. And then when the group is ready the player can choose if they are ready to enter the dungeon.
I know my suggestion is not in line with the global dungeon finder but if they are having a hard time implementing the global finder I would be satisfied with something like this in the meantime. I think since they already have the pvp system in place something like this would be easily implemented.
