I recently hit 30 in my PvP rank and it’s becoming abundantly clear that I am amassing a crazy amount of glory with absolutely nothing to spend it on. I’ve already gotten everything I want from the lvl 30 Wolf Rank, at this point I am essentially just stockpiling it.

It occurs to me that this issue is only get to get worse the higher level I get which presents a problem with stagnation. (At least IMHO).

This is what occurs to me to implement:

First Off: Materials
Allow 50 Arcane orbs to be inserted into the Mystic Forge to make 1 Arcane Shard
Allow 50 Arcane Powder to be inserted into the Mystic Forge to make 1 Arcane Shard
Allow 10 Arcane Shards to be inserted into the mystic Forge to make 1 Arcane Sliver

This will allow us to keep farming materials without hitting a cap and the item being useless.

Second:
Allow 50 Rank tokens to be turned into 1 Rank token of a higher LvL.

(For instance if I farm 50 Rabbit tokens and turn them into the mystic forge I’ll get 1 Deer token. 50 Deer into 1 Dolyak, 50 Dolyak into 1 wolf, 50 Wolf into 1 Tiger, ect ect)

This still allows me to not only farm, but gives me a goal to farming to slowly (every so slowly) unlock the higher tier gear.

Third:
The above suggestion could be used for Free tournament tokens, but I am unsure what it should give as a reward? Possibly a Random Rank token lvls 20-70?

I have a problem with free tournament tokens as tournaments are all I do. I have well over 50 free tournament tokens and all i spend glory on is item tokens to try to reduce them since i have all the free token crafted items i want. Of course you can craft and get a generic item with an orb, but about 20-25% of the time you salvage the item for another free tournament token so it doesn’ t reduce my stockpile. I am baffled as to what I am supposed to do with all these tournament tokens. I haven’t gotten a single item upgrade or salvaged a higher tier item from these free tournament tokens and this has drastically reduced the fun i have in pvp crafting. Why can’t they give you an item token for free tourney tokens in the forge or paid tourney token for free tourney tokens and paid tourney ticket)? I do like the idea of putting in some formula to give you higher tier materials as well.

Now it is official, i have run out of powder trying to use the free tournament tokens. I have about 50 in my inventory, and plenty of orbs-just no powder. I got a copper tourney chest yesterday, where 3/5 items i salvaged turned into free tourney tokens. I then spent 600 on some item tokens at a vendor and crafted 3 pvp items (most basic of course). I then salvaged those and got another free tournament token-because you just don’t get higher tier items-ever. So, i ended up spending 20 powder on nothing. In addition, the most powder you get from an item is 3, so you can see in the long run you will run out of crafting materials before you get to free tournament tokens. So now i will wait until I have 1000 glory, buy a gold box, and hope that I can get some good items/powder. In the meantime, i will get tournament chests and keep salvaging free tournament tokens that will stockpile and be useless.
