I play an Elementalist called Ahiret Emberfang in the game and I would strogly recommend the re-thinking of the Elementalist skill called Glyph of Elementals.
In the beginning I was thinking that it would be awsome if the Elementals would last as long as they get killed, such as the Necromancer Minions, or I could mention the ranger “pets” but let’s say that would be unfair, since some of them like the Earth and Ice Elemental are quite durable and give a huge advantage for that brief 60 seconds they are able to stay summoned. Still it would be cool.
But let’s say that they dont get to live as long as they get killed… In that case it would be a good thing if the recharge of that skill would be lowered, since for that measely 1 minute they trully can help out by tanking, or dealing some sort of damage, or even giving the player some buffs, but still you need to wait 120 seconds just to resummon the poor things, which is technically the dubble of it’s life-spam IF ALL GOES WELL and you pay attention to heal it regularly. 2 minutes are 2 minutes, but since the recharge of this skill trully starts when the Elemtal dies of time depletion and not by getting killed, that would mean that the 2 minutes transform into 3 minutes, if by any chance you summoned the “wrong” elemental by accident… 2 or even 3 minutes means alot in this game, especially if you need to wait for it… and let’s face it a boss fight or something that needs the Elementals to be summoned, in most of the occasions lasts more then 60 seconds

Possible solutions:

-Elementals dont have a life-spam, they die when their hp is depleted to zero, then the 120 second recharge is fair enough in my opinion, it can even be 180 seconds in this case, or even more since you have the possibility to keep your own elemental alive with healing spells and not watch it faint in the middle of action with a full hp bar. (This would be most preferable, since it’s pretty anoying the way it is now)

-Elementals stay the way they are, and automatically “die” after 60 seconds, but then the recharge has to be lovered to half.

-Or even Both Elementals and recharge rate stay the same, but then the recharge should start right after summoning the Elemental, meaning that whether the elemental lives or dies, does not affect the 120 second recharge rate. (Not that much of a change but would make life a little bit easier)

-Or you can make Elementals “linger” for a longer period of time, if this needs to affect the recharge rate then be it…

And yes, I know that the Elementalist has the possibility to swap between attunements, and that gives it a huge variety of combos, and possibly that compensates the fact that it can’t swap weapons during combat, so it might seem unfair regarding the other casts that can summon “helpers” to live a long and happy life alongside their masters, but still this Elemental business bugs me pretty much.
