Not sure if anyone posted this before, but I think it would be a pretty good idea to have an option to go to WvW directly from character selection.

Loading Lions Arch first, just to then load WvW again just seems like a waste of time to me… It’s also quite annoying (not that bad though, don’t get me wrong) that I usually get into the L.A. overflow first, not being able to see the WvW score until I actually go to WvW, and then having to change maps AGAIN.

So currently I need to load 2-3 maps, when I could’ve just loaded the correct WvW map immediatly.

Thoughts?

100% agree. I would take it further and allow you to go the any WvW map, the Mists, Lion’s Arch, or you log-out location from the Character Select screen. The extra loading screens are just there to frustrate us.

Suggestion: Sell a “Trans-Locator Beacon” in the Gem Shop that allows us to do that, if y’all can’t be bothered to actually give your players anything. It seems the entire game was set up just to annoy players and gently prod us to buy things from the GS (bank and TP access). So, there is my monetization suggestion.
Keep it in 5-10 dollar range, I’ll buy one.

They need to make it so that when we get disconnected in WvW that we start in the same place in WvW when we come back and not in pve.
its really annoying that I walk a far distance…DC…relog and have to start walking from the beginning all over again.

Agree Guild Wars had the option to log into pvp or pve. It is annoying when you want to log in and smash fasces on WvWvW and you log into Lions arch then have to look at your WvWvW screen which is not accessible for information in overflow then try and pick a point you want to go to.

I’ve often started GW2 to WvW, but then when I started loading L.A I just closed the game cause I already lost interest lol
