Hi Ya,

Is it possible to change the mini map in WvW.

Instead of having the green dots for fellow allies, I think that gold dots for guild members would be really great.

Their name is in gold when you are close enough to them to see their name but if their little dot was gold it was make meeting up with your guild members so much easier when you are not partied with them.

I know there are various ways to communicate with your guild members ie TS or in game chat but I really do think this would make life a bit easier and more convenient for everyone.

Why just in WvW? This would be great for any map. I sometimes see guild members in the same map by pure accident. It’s like “lol, hi. Didn’t know you were around”. Having them on the map would make joining up easier without making it formal. It would make the game that much more social.

Definitely! It shouldn’t be hard to implement this.

I was talking with some of my guild members a couple days ago about exactly this thing! – In fact, this was the first thing I checked when I made my guild and my friends started joining

I would love to see this happen. Same with hovering over gold dots and seeing their name.

while we do see gold names when we run by in the world (idk if the alt name feature of GW1 still in never bothered to try). It would be wonderful to have the gold dot on map as well with name hovering
