The idea is [Group Event] to require certain amount of players to be around to trigger the event.
Same like Siegerazer events in WvW.
This will stop the singles who just started the game or farmers who wish to fail the event with the idea to bug and farm the creeps all the time.
They’re [GROUP EVENT] for a reason but yet the events have no “fail safe” mechanics and fail at some point even after almost a year since the launch of GW2.
Needless to mention that events like Temple events fail mostly due to singles or 2-3 people staring the event and fail.
The best example of [group event] which need this change is the “gates of arah” pre-event where the poor NPC team dies time after time because Anet made the arah WP always uncontested instead of making the gate always open and the Wp contested until the event is done successfully.Currently there is not point of doing the event so no one does at any server ever.
