Hi everyone,

I do not know if it has already been talked about, I guess yes but I try anyway.

I want to talk and suggest an improvement of the way the group work in GW2 and the synergy you must have.
Is a little to start with but I am sure many have other as good suggestion as I have
So firstly the way buff work in group, I will speak for the POV of an elementalist who try to share is aura with buff.

I think the aura have a too small zone of effect (if I see a guy from my group 2 steps in front of me it does not work I have to be almost on him to share it).
That said, I can speak about the way that is totally a random distribution of aura.

I would like to share the aura with the people in my group and not share it with a pet or a random player who is passing by… is totally insane to have a group just to be in a group there is almost no advantage, expect, I can think of one: the ctrl t to mark a target and the blue color of the name for the guy in your group( which is really poor). compared to all the effect the game have( you cannot even diminish the effect in the video option)
I have seen many feature for group in other RvR game why not steal and transform a bit what have worked before (like trion did with rift expect they weren’t RvR focused game)

An other aspect is the limitation of AoE, is good in a sense but it totally destroy the small group whom is trying to fight outnumbered Zerg,
For example : a small group of 10 players hide and want to fight a bigger group like 30+ and INC them in the back while they not aware of them(in theory it can be very effective but in pratique..), with the limitation at 5, you can have a small impact but never have enough to push and pressure and finish the guy who are on the ground and the clipping is hiding half of them( I know is gonna be resolve soon, is a good news)

I don’t know if you have seen video of people playing @30+, they re all compacted in 2 meter square so all the damage you are doing are completely random you don t touch the same person twice, is like trying to eat a mammoth with a toothpick you never hit the same spot twice,

The heal also, as an elementalist the build I play is mi-support mi-dps, so I have some sort of spell to heal my group… but the thing is, IS not my group who is heal in priority but again totally random zone effect of 5 people, pet, even “PNJ” I guess..(but i care only for my group, i come to play with them)
and when you see that every 20 meter in WvWvW there is a PNJ ( who can even revive downed player “a PNJ” >.< I don’t say in PvE but in WvWvW OMG is starting to become WvEvWvEvWvE)

So is a good game but there is a lot of improvement to be done specially @ small scale for group

in a resume

-Group priority for Buff
-Group priority for Heal
-Larger zone for Buff/Aura effect
-a change for 5 to 9 or more Aoe Effect
- YOUR IDEA FOR GROUP
-YOUR IDEA FOR GROUP
-…
-…

I mean the group is the smallest scale you can have and there is no real advantage to be or not to be within a group..

I do think aoe caps are silly. maybe reduce the damage/healing/duration, but not the number of people affected…

Any improvement would be Nice imo, is just Small scale group miss tools( game mechanic) to be enjoyable in wvwvw. Mostly i see zerg of 50+ and There is no réal fun to play against, When you know is less effectif to play in Small group.

Thé only Time is Nice, is When u find while roaming +- same sized group
