I will not wait 45 seconds for 1 leap… and my boon guardian gives 33-37 seconds of swiftness per cast, OOC, when I can switch to retreat…

passive: AOE +15% permanent swiftness and 1 condition flipped / 25 seconds
active: AOE convert conditions into boons cooldown 75 seconds
effective on 5 characters (and their minions/pets)
23 lvl 80’s, 9 times map, 4ele, 4ncr, 3war, 3grd, 3rgr, 2thf, 2msm, 1eng, 1 rev.

But that part doesn’t make sense. If you have condition, you wouldn’t be sprinting at any speed, but slow combat speed anyway. No one is going to wait 25s for it go away, most likely it will go away by itself first, or someone remove it manually. Having spd and condition removal is just pointless.
I’m all for a Virtue that gives Guardians a Speed Bonus. I love my Guardian dearly, but when I play a Thief or a Warrior can can actually move with any kind of speed, it really makes it hard to go back to playing my Guardian. It just feels so slow afterwards. I’d be happy with a Signet or a Trait to give speed equal to other Signets and Traits. A virtue would be idea.
Granted I’d rather have a teleport than a leap.
@Vexa, That is my point. Speed and Mobility to guardian. To me it doesn’t matter if it’s a Leap or a Tele. What I think Guardian needs is another Gap Closing, or an escape.
If it’s a Virtue, then it can’t be as good as a Trait or a Signet, because we have a Virtue for free, not replacing any Uti or Trait.
Hrmm. My guardian is already my most mobile character. I don’t think we’re exceptionally lacking in this department.

mesmers need a speed boost WAYYYY before guardians do.. the only speed skill we have doesnt stack and its on focus.. one of the lesser used weapons… many mesmers end up using traveler or similar runes just to get around because were sooo kitten slow..
so if anything.. mesmer needs it first.
