Give guardians some form of actual ranged effectiveness. It’s just sad at the moment, they really need a bow, or some kind of ranged power.

Agree – Guardian melee is nicely designed, but the ranged weapons (staff and sceptre) are a lot less fun than the warrior’s rifle & bow. I suppose that the problem Arenanet have is in differentiating the ranged play of the guardian from the warrior.

A bow or something similar with a long range would be a great addition to the guardian.
I have an 80 guardian and i have to say that i dont use the scepter becouse it lacks speed- even simple walking evades autoatack.
I use the staff when i play support and thats it. If i play as dps i am limited to being in melee range. Every class has more ranged variety, even the warrior.
A bow is a great idea.

Just wait till they add Crossbows… Guardian weapon for sure!

Yes, fully support the Crossbow. A long range good DPS weapon with a little guardian flare.

There’s something a bit wet about a guardian using a sceptre and the animations don’t help. I don’t play a guardian because I want to ineffectually waive a little stick around.

Although I do understand that more variety is needed. Not everyone likes shooting slow moving orbs.

Having a crossbow for guardian would be amazing or longbow in general.
I can imagine the cool design of the skills and everything.
Hope that is implemented in the future.
