Guards res in WvWs

Just an (obvious) idea.

How about when a guard is resurrecting me, another player, guard etc, how about if they are being attacked, they don`t just sit there taking it, they actually fight back?

Yep, they can although I`m not sure how it happens.
Fair few times I`ve gotten to a camp only to find someone dead or in the process of dying
