I have been trying to keep inactive checks in my guild in order to make sure that our roster is indicative of our active players. Previously, an easy way to do this was to check who had their “Location” as “Unknown”. The location would change to unknown when that player had not logged in since the last patch. You would set their rank to “Inactive” in the guild and clear those members every week or two. While this was an incredibly rudimentary system, it still worked. Lately, I have noticed that people no longer appear as “Unknown” even immediately following a patch and something was obviously changed as to how location is reported between newer builds.
My question is, would it be possible to have a column next to location or a window that pops up when you mouse over a player in your guild roster that shows when it was the last time that they logged in?
Guild Wars 1 had this system which made it very easy to maintain only active members and it would track a player’s inactivity until they reached “more than 1 month” since they had last logged in. Currently, we have to use a very inefficient google doc or ridiculous roll call threads on our forums to even attempt and see who is active. Please institute a system so that we can manage our guilds’ membership in game.
