Guild Wars 2

SUGGESTION:

Implement a guild alliance system.

Allow guilds to form alliances, have an alliance specific chat, be able to assign alliance officers, etc.

This will allow smaller guilds to participate/coordinate with larger guilds.

Dark Age of Camelot did this, and it was a great boon for the RvR at the time.

I can only see this as a win win for WvWvW and a huge boon to the smaller more casual guilds.

Features:
Alliance Owner
– Alliance officer
– Alliance member

Alliance Only Chat channel
– Should have features similar to guildchat but the Alliance Owner gives permissions to Entire Guilds for chat etc.
– Alliance Owner should have the ability to grant guild leaders of alliance members officer capability.

- Some guild features should be stripped out, and left guild only. IE Guild Vault. WvWvW guild upgrades should be available to alliance as well.

I think they are already working on it as they said in a earlier article that it was a miracle that on launch guilds even worked and that Guilds where going to get a overhaul when the dust settled.
