Give us the ability to ally guilds and make a guild alliance chat please.

I do not see the need for having alliances like in GW1. This is due to the system where you can join multiple guilds. I would like to see however an option to be able to read and chat in two more guild chat channels (besides the one your representing) and be able to customize the colours.

For those wanting to use alliances this gives that possibility (just join your alliance guild and have chat on for both your guild and your alliance guild).

B ut it would also give room for other forms, and give more freedom. The major problem now is to only be able to see chat from the guild your representing.

Would be nice for roleplaying guilds… and small guilds…

My guild is 500, its Full, Everyone is Active and Everyone must Represent at all times.

You can’t talk to everyone in your guild if they’re representing other guilds because they are talking with friends. Or off with the fairy’s else where.

I know in Guild Wars 1 the guild limit was 100, and so by having 500 its like half an alliance in its self, but even then we’d still like the option to talk to guild’s who we’re close with without having to be in it and take up their precious member space.

Lion’s Arch map chat doesn’t count, anything said can be trolled.

I get what you are saying, but my guild is so large 800+ that we have split into multiple guilds. Three in fact to make sure there is room for other to join.

It would be nice if we could have an alliance so we could do different guild things together. Or visit guild halls once they are established. Or have an alliance chat window.

In another smaller guild I am in, we have a couple of sister guilds that we do things with. If we had an alliance, we wouldn’t have to have memberships in each one of those guilds. The limit to guild memberships is 5.

Would be nice to have alliances back

Would love to see this added, would be very handy for very large guilds to become more organized.

Like:
1 Guild for PVE/Social
1 Guild for wvwvw
1 Guild for pvp
all allianced under 1 name and banner but 3 separate guilds with different purposes.

I agree. Even though I’m in the process of finding an RP guild, I can already see this as being a good addition.
