Guild Wars 2

This is certainly a topic that should be discussed and that all guild leaders should pay attention to. Don’t let this topic die.

Totally digging the idea. The pop up on chat Guild Message feature of the first Guild Wars game should come back.

I agree whole heartedly even though I know nothing about leading a bunch of nubs like Starrk here is currently doing!

To be perfectly honest, these ideas have floated around the forums since the first beta weekend.

The real question is, why the kitten hasnt Anet implemented them yet?? MOTD and guild/friend wide messages shouldnt be too difficult to do. Im by no means a developer, but comon… Can implement a new (dead as kitten now) map but cant do these simple quality of life adjustments that might have saved a few smaller early guilds?

I imagine the lack of this feature is due to the ability to be in multiple guilds. Still, I can’t imagine that it would be too hard to come up with a workable solution.

I also find it really annoying that you’ve to override the guild message. For example when you’ve your teamspeak info in there it’s really annoying to type the whole info everytime you change the announcement.

I have high hopes that the guild update will fix this. Signed, for both editing the message and having it display on sign in.

I totally agree. This would make getting the word out so much easier.

Guild leaders should be able to have new guild messages pop up (window) when a account is first logged in.

These suggestions have come up before and any time i see them i will add my support. Please make this happen!!!

I am crossing my fingers we’ll see some improvements with the February update…

GW2 def needs more guild options… the current system is bland. no last login time to be able to see when the last login was for members … MOTD, guild mailing are great ideas
