I was really excited for guild missions and such and finally be able to do guild based activities. However, about 4 months ago our Guild Leader went back to WoW (Dirty Word) and has not logged on even once since.

Here lies the problem, because the only one able to start guild missions/ bounties/ puzzles is the leader who isn’t there. I don’t understand why it isn’t set up just like the guild upgrades in which any of the officer ranked people (or the people with the capability to unlock guild upgrades) can also unlock guild missions. Our guild has grown to an adequate size over the last few months and I would hate to see all our hard work go down the drain.

I hope there is some fix to this issue. Thanks for reading.

The leader would need to allow officers to trigger guild missions.

Nevertheless, a guild without a leader ? … It sounds like s/he should step down and let someone else lead the guild.

There’s nothing wrong with the guild system or the guild missions ; a guild simply needs an active leader to operate.

A more interesting way to solve this would be to request a feature to auto-promote an officer Leader if the leader hasn’t logged in for 2 months ; or something like that

I would love a feature like that. However, he kind of just left us in the dust. He said he would be back but never came. Now there is no way he could step down. I just hope they do implement something so we can nominate someone else.
