Guild Wars 2

Adding in a commander tag that only your guild could see would be such an amazing addition to the game. Many guilds would like to run in their own groups however this requires voice communication or taking over guild chat etc. It’s a burden to run a team guild team in guild wars 2.

Having guild commander icons also eliminates the ability to have teams make characters on your server, log in and sit there spying on where the commanders are moving and reporting to the enemy. It’s takes tactical thinking out of the game to know where your opponent is at all times.

Many people do not like the zerg VS zerg game but because it’s so much easier to follow the commander tag the game just flows into zerg VS zerg rather than smaller guild groups fighting all over the map. less lag, better fights and overall better experience. Some people will chose to still roll in large zergs, but the key is having a choice and the tools in game to make that easier to do.

I realize there are work arounds such as voice coms, and extra communication but it’s a pain when people just want to play casually and have fun.

The commanders and squads in general need a lot of love, I would really like to see this added to the list.

What would be the price or currency to purchase the Guild Commander title?

It’s really simple to create a system that works in every situation.

- They allow commanders to hide the pin.
- They allow commanders to form squads.

Solution: Allow commanders to hide the pin AND still form squads.

Now we have a private squad system that can be used for guild members only or for creating specific sized forces in WvW. Is this really that hard to implement?
