Guild Wars 2

Am I missing something or is ther eno guild discussion forum? I was going through the guild upgrades and the tool tips are almost useless. For exapmple:

Research Politics Level 1

Tooltip says: Increase your guild skill in politics to level 1.

It’s basically a repeat of the skill name and just as useless. Why would I want to do it? what benefit would it give my guild?

So, to get back on subject, I’ve been trying to figure out what all these things do and which one I should learn first, but htere is no uselful informaition out there. I thought that there would at least be a forum here where I could look through and find out what these things do, but the only thing about guilds is the guild recruitment forum.

For a game with Guild in its name there is remakably little information about guilds available.

Also, please add more information to the guild roster panel such as time last on and alt information (names, class, professions, etc.) would be very useful.

I am not sure there is really enough out there to discuss about guilds in general to warrant having it’s own forum. If you are looking for information about various features of the game the wiki is a great starting point.

As for upgrades such as ‘Politics 1’ these simply open the door to the other more tangible upgrades. If you look at their tootips it will stat what level they require so they can be built. It is simply a gating mechanism so the best upgrades take a good amount of time and influence to achieve.
