When we earn guild influence, why can’t we buy upgrades for that influence in WvW when claiming keeps/camps?
After all, it’s sort of the guilds ‘karma’ currency.
I suspect the usage of gold might be to encourage gem-to-gold conversion; however I do think influence would be a good currency to use as well; as all guild members automatically contribute to this to begin with.
