Guild Wars 2

Some people would love to change their guilds name without losing all of their hard work. I don’t think there is a way of doing this (looked around found nothing).

I wouldn’t mind spending upwards of 10k(+) guild points to change the guild name to something else if that’s what you would deem necessary requirement but I believe it’s something that should be implemented within the game.

A name is something important for a guild and my guild name isn’t what we want it to be anymore but we have so many things unlocked (nearly level 4 tier in all things) and we don’t want to lose it just to create a new one and even have to re-invite everyone.

Great idea! This would really help out my guild.

Yeah this is a must have feature. As guilds grow and evolve sometimes names change.

I am against this. A guild builds a reputation based on its name and being able to change it at will should not be allowed. 10k points is literally nothing to a larger guild. We routinely have over 100k with little to spend it on.

I am talking about smaller guilds who build all their points with 5-15 people and find they AS A GROUP all want to change the name.

This feature would be something to consider.

Even in your case, implementing a ‘vote’ to change the guild name along with ponts to change could be a requirement if that would be more along your ally.

I disagree a name change for a guild should not be done. You’re basically erasing any thought and end up well if I don’t like it I can change it later.
